Holds what I need: Luggage and travel gear

Sometimes I work remotely (from home) when I go to the office it's an open floor plan and I travel a lot. So I had to organize the things I carry with me every day better. Flash drives, batteries, business card case, Apple charging cable, P&S camera, reading glasses case, headphones, calculators, etc. I first bought a medium sized case that folds in half and zips up, but I found that with the Items I had The tote bag became too thick to close, the items inside were pressed together and just couldn't hold everything I needed. It was quite expensive and a little disappointing. I saw this item and bought the largest one. I've had it for 7 months now and am very happy with it. My Notes: It was cheap compared to the ones that zip up. As I'm sure you've guessed, it's flat, like a piece of hard cardboard, with elastic bands in all directions and along its entire length. On the opposite side there is a zip pocket for several small documents. Since it doesn't fold, I've found it can hold a lot more, but the protection for these items is only as good as the padding you choose. I put the organizer in the backpack's large central pocket and had no problems. When I'm pulled out of the queue at the airport for an extra check, pulling out the grid makes it easier to inspect my small electronics and get back in my bag. It can accommodate a variety of shapes and sizes and I've put everything from a socket tester to reading glasses in the case and it will hold everything. It has a loop tab at the top and I hold it, shake it a little, and if something comes loose I know I need to rearrange something. One of my concerns was that the elastics would come loose, but so far they have held their shape. While I'm sure they'll weaken over time until the bands are pushed to their limit for an extended period of time, I expect they'll last a long time. For me it worked very well, can only recommend it and would definitely buy it again.
