I bought this to keep my kitties off the kitchen counter. I bought two and tied them together. Apparently half a ninja and half cat genius, my orange kitty could jump off the ground and land BETWEEN the spikes. So if your kitty is above average in the cat department or has perfected their ninja skills, this may not work for you. Then I decided to try it on the ground around a potted plant that a gray tabby wouldn't leave alone. He found the rug a great chew toy. We rolled it back and gave it away.
