I always order a spare dress during ballroom season. And in this case, my dress won on the back. The lighting in the picture makes it brighter, but it's actually a deeper red. I ordered based on the size chart and it fits me perfectly. I will say that if you have long hair like mine (to your waist) the sequins tend to stick to your hair so I wore my hair up. I'm shy about my forearms and the open sleeves were perfect for me. I wish it was a little longer but since I was wearing a shorter heel it worked great.
