I was a bit skeptical at first when I received the box where one of the things it protects against was listed as "explosion proof". For now, however, I'm fairly convinced that this is true. I am now about 1 month old, have experienced a lot on my watch at work, at school and in everyday life. My watch has been dropped off a raised bed multiple times and with this protection the screen survived a 5 foot drop. I've encountered metal shelving at work, banged the grille against my car door, and done just about anything with it that someone would come across in everyday life. However, it FINALLY broke after I hit the concrete. The protector consists of two layers of impact-resistant glass. The first layer cracked, the second was undamaged. I decided to take off the protector and light it up with a metal flashlight to see what happens. In the picture above you can see the consequences. The first layer cracked, but the second was undamaged. If you run your fingernail down one side you can feel the ridges of the cracks, but if you run your fingers over the second layer it's just smooth. The set is very easy to put together and for the price I will definitely be buying more when I run out. Great product and keep up the good work guys!
