different brands of personal trimmers, and they always seem to die after a few weeks of use, even with fresh batteries. The last one I had was the Wahl brand (see photo comparison), which works well when deciding to turn on, but is completely inconsistent in that regard. It just doesn't work sometimes for some reason. Makes me mad. I've had this Panasonic for a few days and it works very well! So far no problems. My husband tried it on his thicker, curly chest hair (just for testing purposes - he has his own trimmer) and it caught and pulled a little more than some of the ones we had, but overall it did a great job on your task. So! The main thing is to see if it lasts longer than a month. I'll come back and update, I promise. Happy with the purchase so far! He does a very good job with all the hairstyles a girl needs to look feminine!
