I bought one of these to use with many of the YI cameras I have around the house. Here are some pros and cons to help you decide if this is right for your needs. Advantages: 1. Easy to assemble2. Fast installation3. Durable4. Swivel for easy adjustment5. The bright red IR LEDs are not appearing where I placed them. Cons: 1. Not waterproof2. The power plug does not have its own air conditioning.3. The swivel is loose, can not be fully tightened in sight.4. Has a small rubber pad that if you don't install it properly, your IR LEDs will block or blur the view. Don't make the mistake I made and installed everything with no rings. The only reason I bought this product instead of a YI outdoor camera is because of this fact. YI outdoor camera has visible LEDs! I don't want people to see the cameras I have installed so they can hack or steal them. Now there is a solution to make it waterproof but I haven't tried it yet. You can take some plastic epoxy or marine putty and plug the holes with the camera block in it. I might buy another one just to try it out. If I succeed I will post an update.
