Review on Sony WI1000X/B: Black Wireless Behind-Neck In-Ear Headphones with Premium Noise Cancelling by Su San ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I am satisfied with the purchase. For me, the main criterion was good sound and versatility. I wanted it to be wireless headphones for music from the phone. And so that these headphones can be used for games, for example, with a nintendo switch. This model fits perfectly. The headband is comfortable, almost not felt on the neck. The location of the buttons is quickly remembered - I saw complaints about this, but for my taste everything is ok. Of course, you can’t put such headphones in your pocket, but on the other hand, you don’t need to put them in your pocket - it’s easier to hang them around your neck There are convenient recesses for the wire in the case - it is easy to fix the plugs so that they do not hang out. I didn't get this feature right away, but it's very cool.

Pros
  • - Impressive sound. Detailed, juicy. The bass sounds clear, without hum. - The ability to connect via mini jack is just a great feature. This allows you to use headphones with nintendo switch and any other devices, avoid sound delay with your phone when it's critical. In addition, you can use your ears this way if the battery is dead. - Effective active noise cancellation with the ability to "reverse" it to hear the surrounding space. - While the bluetooth connection behaved very stably. Let's see what happens in the winter.
Cons
  • - By bluetooth, there is a rather significant sound delay. You can watch movies only with a player that can compensate for sound delay. It's hard to play games in general. But it saves the opportunity to cut the headphones with a cable. - The equalizer can only be enabled if you set the "priority of a stable connection", which uses the simplest codec. Apparently, the headphone processor does not pull both high bitrate, noise reduction and real-time processing at the same time. It's a pity. Consider that these headphones do not have an equalizer. - I did not understand the adaptive noise reduction adjustment. The feature seems to be very smart, but stupid. Profiles are switched through the squeak and pause of the music for 2 seconds, which interferes. Yes, and rarely when you want to listen to the surrounding space, but the adaptive thing thinks otherwise. She is still sort of setting up, but I was too lazy to do this. As a result, I cut it off - since there is a button by which you can manually turn on the "transparency" mode and listen to everything around you, if necessary. - The buttons obviously wanted to be made very tight so that they would not be accidentally pressed. We overdid it. To press the button, you have to hold the bezel on the opposite side, and quite firmly.
