. I am almost 100% satisfied with this vent clip. I don't need a magnetic phone holder for my car because I wanted something I can take out and switch between cars. I have pretty thin vents so I use the narrowest setting. I also put it in the bottom vent because my phone is quite heavy so it's carried by the bottom of the vent. I disable the vent because it's tight so heat or air conditioning doesn't blow directly onto the phone. Depending on the road conditions, I sometimes reattach the holder to the air outlet if it pinches and feels loose. My Galaxy S8 has a phone case k (rubber grip and hard plastic) and with the case my phone fits perfectly and has NEVER fallen out even after over a year of daily use. However, when I remove the case from my phone, my phone immediately slides right out of the vent clip. (tldr) With my phone case, this vent clip is absolutely amazing, but without the phone case, this vent clip sucks.
