UPDATE: I am changing my rating to 5 stars based on this company's excellent customer service policy and execution! They quickly refunded my money based on my experience and sent me a new set of headphones (on-ear, not o-ear) free of charge that would suit us better given the issues we had with this model. You can't go wrong ordering from a company that treats you so well. You will either love these headphones or otherwise be satisfied! ********************* Original Review: I was so thrilled with these headphones for my daughter on our recent flight. But here's the problem: I put them on and tried to watch a movie. The foam got very hot on my ears to the point where I felt like they were almost on fire! The foam is covered in leather (plastic) and sits directly ON the ear - maybe that's why other reviews call it "small". And it got warm. Very very warm. I think the problem is the insulation, not the electrical. I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't tried wearing them for a while myself. We have adult Blurex wireless headphones at home for watching TV and they never got hot. I checked out the differences when I got home and the Blurex foam ring wraps around the ear but doesn't sit on the ear. They looked great and I love that they fold well and have an amazing connector for sharing. They're also capped at 93dB instead of 85dB, so a bit louder than other kids, but you can turn them off too. My daughter kept wanting to take them off after 5-10 minutes. I think it's because they didn't cover their ears with a cup and slipped a little. But I think it's also because she's 2 years old and she can't wear them. I managed to get them to sit perfectly on my head (at maximum length setting).
