This is a wonderful mobile phone. As an occupational therapist, my child's visual and motor development is influenced by my training and experience. This cell phone is versatile as you can switch the watch faces and it's a lot of fun to watch your child enjoy. Some people don't like the fact that the phone doesn't spin by itself but we have another motorhome that plays music and is battery powered so it keeps moving and tires the kid out pretty quickly. The Manhattan Toy Mobile allows her to naturally shift her gaze and track the slice she chooses with her evolving vision. Initially she liked the black and white image of the baby face and now that she is older she follows the color images of the sun, car and fish and then switches back to the baby face which she still loves. four months. It has to be mobile. Don't worry about battery powered products.
