I don't see how anyone could think that they are uncomfortable because they are incredibly comfortable to wear. I never have problems and often forget them when I wake up. I hooked it up to a sleep machine (Reacher White Noise Sound Machine - 28 loop-free soothing sounds, high-quality speaker, headphone jack, memory function, 4 timers, sleep therapy for babies/kids/adults/home/office privacy, BlackSold by ReacherDirect ), with that i have it right next to my bed and it's easiest to place the cord of the earbuds overhead rather than under the head as they tend not to twitch or fall out and you probably aren't twitching the cord hard enough , the wired sound machine to move about. That way I don't have to make noise to my husband and he can listen to his music whenever he wants, he can even make phone calls and I don't know. I do not hear anything. The noise is dull without the Soundmachine, but with the combination of the Soundmachine it's perfect for me. The only thing that makes it more perfect is a longer cable or Bluetooth, but the same earbuds.
