Only used once with the remote connected. It worked well outside in the rain. It's a good value at $19 apiece. There are currently very few alternatives to this if you need a waterproof remote power supply. I have not used this underwater with remote powering. However, I have used this housing underwater with an internal camera power supply at 10 meters and the housing does not leak. The screw cap for the power/HDMI ports also makes it easy to charge the battery inside. The OEM black cover had to be removed before the door to these ports could be opened. Some minor improvements include the inclusion of a protective cap over the lens area, as well as a strap or strap to secure the round screw cap when removed. One can imagine that this cover would easily be lost in the field rendering this case unusable.
