I have acne prone, dry or dehydrated skin. I've struggled with acne for years and want to try this toner as the one I had before was too gentle. I wanted this to work for me, but it just didn't work. One of the main ingredients is witch hazel, which has an extremely strong astringent effect. Nevertheless, I still wanted to try it since it has so many good reviews. In any case, as expected, it dried out my skin and made my face sting if there were any pimples. Considering this toner is intended to treat acne, that's a bad sign. One day after I used half the bottle my eyes started to sting every time I used this product so I had to stop completely. It's just personal preference too, but I don't like that the dispenser is one of those ones you press with a pad. I think using cotton pads is pretty wasteful and can be rough on the skin. The only positive is that it smells nice I think. This will likely work much better for someone with oily skin.
