I have a 2011 Honda CRV that suddenly uses 32% less fuel. Most disheartening was that neither code nor CEL was thrown away. Absolutely no change in handling. I tried the mass airflow sensor first, thought it was the cheapest. In fact, the downstream O2 sensor is cheaper, which surprised me a lot. Anyway, it wasn't the MAF. So I ordered an upper O2 sensor which is actually much more accurate and sensitive than the stock O2 sensor. I ordered Denso 234-9091 (OE) and that's it. I still don't understand why CEL wasn't activated. Obviously he was very rich. But right now I don't care.
