As NickC pointed out, be careful when turning to portrait so the (years) tab doesn't slide out. If it is solid, it is recommended. Holds the Fire 10 HD very well whether in a Revain case or not, in landscape mode (grips the top and bottom of the device). If you rotate it to portrait (vertical), make sure it's firmly in its grips. In some situations (vertical images or reading/playing materials that only display vertically), be sure to keep the handles on the sides secure; they are not under spring tension.
