I was looking for something that one of my daughters could use as a desk, drawing, laptop space etc during the long 9 hour journey from our home state to another. After reading the reviews about it I decided to go for it and I'm very glad I did. She loves it. She likes to have space for pencils, crayons, etc., as well as drinks if needed. The writing area is smooth. It also has enough space to comfortably fit her 11 inch school laptop and her personal 14 inch laptop. When I put my 15.6 inch laptop on it, it feels a bit cramped. My only complaint is that the legs would be stronger. They fold very easily even if you don't want them to. Purpose and my kid loves it, that's all that matters.
