So disappointing. I like the flat cable, they are comfortable, sound good (I usually use them to watch content on my phone at night) and worked well for about a week. After I threw the box away, they (of course) went crazy for volume every time I used them like crazy. I'm pretty sure I got hearing damage because they suddenly went into overdrive when I wasn't touching the volume at all. Then it became like a struggle - the volume flies all the way, I fight it, it goes full blast, over and over again, etc. It's annoying to watch this show. I can't trade them for another pair because I liked them otherwise. Too bad I didn't pick up that stupid box. A complete waste of money.
