I first became acquainted with the Airscape Containment System many years ago when my then-barista daughter. Since then I have collected many containers of different sizes for my coffee. Since I started roasting my own coffees, varieties have had to be stored separately and Airscape has become the method, so I now store my green and freshly roasted coffees in a variety of Airscape containers. They allow my freshly roasted beans to evaporate and keep the roasted beans fresh while waiting for the grinder and my cup. This is a tried and true storage jar and I highly recommend it! I would recommend them for any type of dried plant material. Coffee, tea, herbs that need a secure storage container.
