I have an old monitor and a new one, both 25 inches, the angle I want. So why am I giving it a 4*? Because I took it apart and bent the knot inwards and now it works. I think there might be other methods I could use if it doesn't stay that way. Basically the hinge , which connects directly to the monitor, is too smooth and the metal holding the hinge is too smooth too stiff, even if you tighten the Allen wrench enough to break it in half, you can't tighten it enough, er still slides down. What he really needs is a rougher surface to create tension. Maybe I can make it better, but I'll probably buy a new monitor anyway.
