This gives it the durability you would expect from a pencil case. There is a slim zipped pocket on the front, perfect for pens. There is also a large pocket with a transparent window for large items. The pocket is designed to stay flat, so the large pocket is convenient for stencils, stickers, art tools, etc. I keep my circular needles in a folder, in regular plastic cases, and these fit perfectly and hold my needle gauges and specialty gauges. It is a beautiful and practical item that brings a little fun to everyday life.
