In 42 years of wearing shoes, these are without a doubt the worst shoes I have ever owned. I have worn Clarks shoes for many years. This was to replace my 3 year old dress shoes. When I received these shoes they were shiny leather. This morning I walked to my car in light rain. The shoes were slightly spattered with water, but by no means soaked. When I got to work I looked down and saw that the black coating was cracked and the glossy finish was dull. As I wore them all day, they became more and more ragged. When I got home they looked as bad as my 3 year old shoes. All of this in one day! I have absolutely no confidence in how cheap the material is for these shoes. They are designed to look good enough for you to buy, but are not designed to last longer than the worst/cheapest shoes. abominable. Spend a little more and get good shoes that will last more than a day. Not only will I not buy these shoes, I'm done with Clark shoes. It's sad how far they've fallen.
