It's more attractive and better made than me. It's not overly bright, but sufficient for reading and typing from a distance. Choosing between daylight, warm white and combination is a good option. I was afraid it would bounce off the screen, but the adjustable hinge takes care of that. It sits a little high above the top of the monitor, but I suspect this is to eliminate any interference with the selfie/zoom camera at the top of the monitor. The retaining spring could be a bit stronger, but still works well.
