A few indicators: I have an average weight, average height, curly and curly hair. I have had this product for several months. I use them in two ways. First, I tied my freshly washed and towel-dried hair into a loose bun. I usually sleep on my hair and in the morning my hair is 80-90% dry. I apply the product and let it air dry completely. Second, I blow dry my hair 80% straight and then wrap it in a loose bun. In the morning my hair was dry and a nice wave was added to it. Both options worked well. I've washed and dried them several times without the stretch that others have mentioned. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
