There's nothing wrong with this fan clock. It's certainly not necessary, but if you need a fan while you're at your computer, why not make it fun? There is only one speed, but for me it's not a problem. You can move it a little closer to yourself or a little further. Love how it glows and how it gives you some information about the weather. After a month or two, the clock may be a minute or two off. It's ok - you can reset at any time. It's colorful, fun, new. This is also a good gift.
