One of my biggest pluses about insta360 is the great modular design. I was arguing between a GoPro Hero9 Black and this one with a 4k mod but decided that modularity has more advantages and a 1 inch image quality (especially in low light) is the best option. One caveat with the 1-inch lens: close-up focusing isn't very good. So if you're shooting creative shots where the subject needs to be close, you need to put close-up diopters on it. I also wish the 1" was threaded to make adding filters easier, but a bit of tape will do the trick. The 360° camera's image quality is also very good and it's a lot of fun to shoot with. The software in the App is pretty intuitive and will hopefully get better over time with updates. The connection to the app can be a little shaky at times but that doesn't bother me. I've also paired it with a small cage and that makes it more versatile. Overall great action -Camera with the ability to switch between 360° and normal recording I hope they release more creative modules in the future and maybe a way to add streams to the 1" mod to add filters.
