Absolutely beautiful on arrival! Received so many compliments on this collar. Like it a lot. They fit perfectly, felt comfortable and surprisingly neither the leather nor the chain left marks on my dogs light colored coat. My dogs have been wearing these collars (I have two dogs so I have two of these collars) for less than an hour a day for 6 months and they are basically getting killed. They're really awful (much darker, the metal buckle has soiled the leather and I can't even get leather cleaner off) but what's worse, they keep coming loose and falling off, even when my dogs wear them. when there is no leash attached to them and my dogs just walk slowly around the house. So just one hour a day for six months they are useless. But! The price is so high for a leather martingale that leaves no marks and so perfect that I just buy a few more and settle for swapping them out every six months. (But if/when my dogs get loose because this collar fails, they will not run away; if you have a dog that can fly, DO NOT rely on this collar!)
