I mainly use this tool box to keep in my truck. I've never used a console drawer before, but thought I could make good use of its space to organize my tools. Subjects. One side has various screwdrivers and utility knives while the other side has adjustable wrenches, pliers and ratchets. In the middle compartments I used my "special tools", on one side I have alan keys, metal snips and on the other side I have a set of star screwdrivers and extra sprockets. In the bottom compartment I have all my sockets, grease gun, winding tools with wrenches and a plastic storage box with bolts/screws/nuts. Professional level painting. May is an opening and closing process. When the box is closed (handles together) you can access the 2 top compartments by simply clicking them to open, a really nice feature. You can also attach a simple clip to keep them from opening themselves, or even a small padlock if you like. The item was shipped in a custom box in a different standard brown box. I would recommend this box to anyone who has tools and wants them organized in one place. This box offers plenty of space and is the right size for things like long sockets to sit side by side rather than stacked on top of each other. I can look inside my box and see exactly what I need and where it is. No more moving things around to get the tool I need. I plan to explore other Excel products.
