We just got a blanket for our son with ASD who needs a warmer option for the upcoming cool weather and hopefully the weight will help him too to sleep longer. So far the duvet and cover are exactly what we were looking for. They both washed well in our machine cold and the comforter air dried well (the cover dried well in our dryer on low). I love the design of the quilt! It appears to be very well made and is comfortable to lay on even without the super soft mink cover. The cover is adorable (we have sleepy dinosaurs to go with our son's dinosaur bedroom theme) and is soft and easy to put on, especially since the quilt has loops to tie the cover down - brilliant! I also like that the cover has a zipper at the bottom instead of buttons. Our son and daughter tried the comforter on and both felt comfortable in it so we may need to buy another one for them in the future. And maybe an adult size for me and my husband. First impressions of this weighted blanket are very good. Robust, safe design, comfortable carrying case, easy to put on, good weight distribution.
