This shelf looks good and holds a lot of CDs. I haven't found all of mine since I moved in, but I'm pretty sure the rest will fit. I'm taking off one star for durability, as you'd expect it's a cheap material like chipboard covered with a wood-look laminate. except on the back. It doesn't hold up well in a household with small children or a lot of exercise. I put a layer of plastic and cardboard underneath to (hopefully) protect it from the moisture from the mop on the linoleum floor. It's next to a freezer I bought used 27 years ago. "It would be nice if it lasted as long and as well as a freezer, but I have my doubts about that. I would also deduct a star for the assembly instructions. The last step in the instructions tells you to lay the shelf on the front in order to attach the back. The problem is that the base is taller than the rest of the shelf - for stability - I understand, but because of that it won't lay flat. Luckily I have a lot of books and I found a few to put under the front of the shelf to keep it fairly level while I attached the back. Overall this is good value for money and I would probably buy it again if I could find a use for another.
