Review on πŸ‘“ ASTI Blue Light Blocking Acetate Frame Progressive Reading Glasses for Women and Men - Ideal Computer Readers by Tina Brown

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Excellent replacement for prescription lenses/frames

These trifocal lenses are almost identical to my actual bifocal prescription lenses in my current frame. The frames themselves are quite stylish and ruffled if you prefer the oversized look. The only downside for me is the tint that is added to block "harmful blue light". After doing a little research, I found that there is no concrete evidence that the blue light these lenses are designed to block is actually harmful. Not to mention they spoil the lenses and make it difficult to see through. I am in the process of removing the protective film from them (at your own peril and risk of course). It's not over yet, but it's getting there. And since the film washes off, I can see better with these glasses. Well, I'm assuming that if you buy them you WANT to have film on them, but I'm telling you, I definitely see better without the tint. There are various products and solutions that will help remove coatings from lenses, but do your own research. I don't feel comfortable recommending a product because it's not meant to be. Once I take the cover off I will be very happy with these glasses. I save a lot of money by buying another pair of prescription lenses and frames!
