Check out Miler's video of these beats. I put together a combo hackamore/snaffle training bit that compares to nothing on Myler quality. Perfect design. Horses love it and adapt well. I now use this combination on all my horses, not just trainers. A good horse doesn't need it until you need it, a green horse needs it and easily obeys command. Much less stress in the mouth or on the horse. Less confusion when training the driver. Goes well with martingale. This type of snaffle is best suited for horses and riders that use a variety of riding styles and are traveling through new terrain. Simple elements work best for a horse that does one thing over and over again and knows what to do and when to do it.
