Will not fit 2016 RAV4 body

I've already encountered a case and fought for a righteous cause. The case ended up cracking and ruining another outlet but removing the old one. Bought a new metal oil filter housing and bought this new filter wrench with high hopes. I went to change the filter and it just revolves around the case. ; won't even catch the tongues enough to create tension. It's too small. Not sure what the aftermarket metal case or this product is, but it won't work at all.
