For many years I had to shave at night to allow my sensitive skin to heal overnight. Otherwise I would have gone to work looking like someone had rubbed sandpaper on my face. I've used many different shaving products and methods, but Anvil changed the game. Not only is the actual shave smooth and easy, my skin is no longer red or irritated. I waited two weeks to write this review thinking it might be some sort of temporary effect. That's the real deal. I still shave at night: 1) one less thing in the morning and 2) my wife prefers a smooth face at night. However, I wake up with incredibly smooth skin.
