Sturdy. It will be distributed as promised. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, this is the only high volume pump available. The real problem is that the suction creates a siphon effect and the water never stops dripping. It will literally drop a whole gallon of whatever you spill onto the fridge floor if you don't put anything on the sink when you're done with it. We place a disposable latex food glove on the spout after each use. Not comfortable. If you're using this on a self-serving spice bar, expect to have to wipe up the mess every 15 minutes.
