This is a lovely little USB lamp. It had an on/off switch at the top, which you can also use to turn on and off the two separate LED bulbs on the lamp. The neck of the lamp is easy to move and bend into position, it's metal and actually seems pretty solid. The amount of light this thing emits is enough for my needs: mainly to see my keyboard. at night without having to stare too hard or squint. I personally don't think this light is powerful enough for reading or studying, but for my purposes it's fine. The only thing that bothers me is the length of the lamp. I don't have it with me right now, but I figure it's probably 10-12 inches long. It's probably good enough if you use it with a laptop, but I use it with an iMac. Luckily, I have a powered 10-port USB hub, plus a male-to-male USB extension cable, and some command bars to attach it to the back of the screen.
