I have small eyes and since these lashes only have 3 magnets on the ends and in the middle, you definitely can't trim them. However, I shade the end in the eyeliner wing and it doesn't stand out. Sometimes when I blink it looks like the lash is about to come off because I can see the strip coming off my eyelid but it never really comes off completely. For those worried about their lashes falling off in the middle of an event, this definitely ticks the box for me. When I'm taking professional photos I would still use traditional lashes and lash glue, but for a dinner or night out this will save you a lot of time. I also had to buy a magnetic eyeliner separately!
