Review on 📦 Large Wood Leather Treasure Box - Vintiquewise QI003006.L TM Decorative Trunk by David Boulanger

I gave this to my little step-son for his 3rd etc.) and I painted his name on the back with white acrylic paint. We called it "treasure chest". He loved it! All the other members of his family - aunts, uncles and all real grandparents - gave him the usual toys and games, many wonderful ones, but when all the presents were opened and considered, the first thing he wanted to do was return his treasure chest! It was a hit! The rest of the family complimented me for being creative with such a gift and felt like a pirate eye patch and this would be another great addition inside. In terms of quality, I first had to hammer in a few open brackets that had the potential for pinky poking. The thin plywood back panel material was a bit warped and I suspect it would not hold up after 3 years. The clasps and straps were fun and the overall look was rich and rustic as the sizing was large - not too small and not too big. It was perfect for what it cost and what I wanted.
