Bought because I needed extra drum stands. Racks work, but hardly. You can definitely tell it's cheaply made; they look plastic and light. Compared to the "On Stage" mic stands I have, they are much more unstable and very easy to tip over. I wouldn't trust them with large diaphragm or heavier mics. I wouldn't use it in concert either; The dart throws him off balance too easily, and it takes care and adjustment to keep him from falling. Also, they don't reach high enough to work overhead with drum mics. At the moment I use them to close drums or amps for easy home recording. But I don't think they are durable enough to withstand years of use.
