Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Headphones and Knox Gear Mount Bundle by Anastazja Klementyna ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

After seeing some gushing praise for them on YouTube, I decided to check them out in person. The sound quality is rather uniform, the stage is built adequately in width and depth, and there is no distortion. The impact of the low notes was missing from my music. The availability of decent midbass is a plus. And looking up from below, it appears more like a boom than whatever they're trying to replicate. They do not succeed in reclaiming the bass's lower register. Poorly balanced feed; too little weight gain. The core is excellent; it's so well-done and intricate. Some tracks include an entirely synthetic upper range, while others seem like they were missing a few decibels of air. To my mind, this does not belong in the same price bracket as HF air. Since I won't be using them as a headset, I see no reason to invest in features like noise cancellation. One earpiece was making a lot of annoying squeaking noises. Occasional dripping of the ears. Despite their modest weight, all of these factors discouraged a purchase. But that's just how I feel. I thought maybe someone else could benefit from hearing this.

Pros
  • Not much appealed to me overall. But, it's likely to be in the MF spectrum. In the first five minutes after touch down, your ears will start to perspire.
Cons
  • The left earpiece was always making a cracking noise, which was really distracting. From what I have seen in the reviews, this appears to be the case. Maybe there was a wedding celebration and I was invited. Ear pads soaked through after only five minutes of listening. Many people have seen this and agreed that it's a major nuisance. This never occurred when using leather-padded Sennheisers or Bayers. The total lack of substance does not give me any reason to trust it. In my estimation, it will be completely useless in under a year.
