Review on Vera Bradley Lighten Backpack Polyester by Reginald Sealy

I use the VB backpack as a personal item on airplanes. Great because it looks like a backpack but I can sneak it around the airport. It also fits under the seat. Now the first model was PERFECTION. This new one is terrible. Rather than having a flat, hard material on the bottom to prevent floor abrasion, it has a vertical bar that protrudes into your spine. It literally hurt me. It hurt so bad just to roll it. The side pockets no longer have elastic, making it difficult to store bottles in them. Front metal pocket with vertical slot is TERRIBLE. You scratch your hand while putting something in or taking something out and when you open it all your belongings fall out. Please bring back the old model! The one on the left in the photos is the old model, the one on the right with the deathstick sticking out.
