Feels very warm, haven't had a chance to test it in wet weather yet but material feels smooth and waterproof. I measured my dog and he was 16 3/4 inches long and at the widest part of his chest. He weighs 14 pounds. Based on the ordered comments I ordered XL. He is perfect in length and chest, but too big in the waist so that his hind legs stick out. We solved this problem by putting a clamp on his back. I can put on a few stitches or just go the easy chip clip route. It looks great and it does the job, so what the heck.
