I had to replace a resistor I bought 4 years ago. I installed 6 of these in August 2016. Pair for 2 front indicators. 2 pairs for 4 rear indicators. In August 2020, one failed (the meter reads 2.4 ohms, not the listed 6 ohms. They were all attached to the metal body of the car to dissipate heat. These resistors prevent excessive flickering when switching from incandescent to LEDs. The installation All 6 was tricky because the mounting hole is right on the shoulder of the resistor body so even the #6 screw head can't fit in the mounting hole. I cut it in #10-32 and screwed it in from the back.
