Review on ⌚ Timex Ironman Triathlon 30-Lap T5G271 Watch by Mensur Long

Original replacement for the Timex brand. I'm deducting a point because the pins that come with it aren't standard. Luckily the original watch pins were fine. Fitting a new strap was a HUGE pain. I've dabbled with regular watches before and they're a little tricky, but on this watch for some reason the strap needs to be inserted A LOT into the watch case for the pins to engage. Any little mistake and you'll start over, maybe looking for the needle after it jumps into space. I will never buy a watch with this type of strap again. Another note: There should be enough information on the back of the watch to go to the Timex website and find out which strap to buy. There is no such happiness. "Ironman Triathlon" describes a variety of watches with different band sizes. We were told to measure the width and from other reviews it's easy to get wrong. I like the watch itself: it shows amazingly accurate time, adding a few seconds per year. However, if I ever encounter another group change, I can opt out to avoid the hassle of the change.
