I had low expectations for this solution for an aging 2007 G35 shift knob, but it really blew me away (once I figured out how to make it smaller). After following the installation instructions, the leather fits snugly everywhere except right around the button you press, which allows the switch to move out of park. It was sagging / had gaps. I tried some water and some reviewers recommended sticking it on (I didn't want a semi-permanent solution like glue). Parts need to be compressed. I wet it well, pressed the skin in place and waited for it to dry naturally. The result is a perfect fit! So if you want to spruce up your worn shift knob, grab it and do a trick to make it fit perfectly. .
