So the idea is to save space, but with the controller charging on one side and gaming on the other, it takes up just as much if not more space than before. And the batteries read 3/4 after a full charge. Fans don't have to be loud. Can't stick them over the battlefield 5.Update: 1/21/19: Everything works fine for the most part. One of the controller charging ports is out of service. Putting the controller down won't charge it, but if you gently press the pins where the controller is resting a few times, it will work. I hope to return with good news. Update 3/9/19 I have two controllers. One is hardly used so I mainly use it to charge one battery while using the other so I can swap them out if the controller I'm using dies. Batteries still show 3/4 when fully charged. They die very quickly. I use a mic so I'm sure it helps empty them faster. But they seem to die quickly. It will be a good gift for a person who is not a real gamer. Like someone who only jumps 1 hour or less, otherwise you'll have to change/recharge a lot of batteries. To be honest I just put the AA batteries back in. They don't wear out that quickly. The fans are still running and haven't gotten any louder. The fans were the biggest advantage for me. When I game I play for over 4 hours straight and it's nice to have some quiet that the console gets some help cooling down. Will I buy it again or will I go back and buy it based on my current knowledge. Probably. I just wish the battery was better. So far I still give 4/5. I will update later.
