Review on 🐱 Royal Canin Feline Care Nutrition Weight Control Thin Slices In Gravy Canned Cat Food, 3 oz by Jeff Chisholm

She only likes "low-calorie " canned food

After much (expensive and wasteful) experimentation we finally found a low calorie canned cat food that our very obese senior cat loves. When choosing between the ultra light RC and the canned food she used to eat (purina per something) she will always go for the ultra light. Oddly enough, our other canned cat also prefers Ultralight to almost everything else. I'm not sure what they put in this stuff but our cats think it's fine. This food is ground dirt in a sauce. Sometimes there is more sauce than others. We are big sauce fans here. RC makes another very similar food that I believe is called RC Feline Health Nutrition Light. This is "a sliced bread in a sauce". None of our canning lovers were interested in this food. They would have eaten it if there was absolutely nothing else, but it was like the end of the world. These two cans are very similar so make sure you buy the one you want to test in store and order a box of what you want here. We've had good luck with both the ultra-light RC diet (canned diet) and the hypoallergenic diet. (dry). Both were recommended by our vet as we had never heard of this brand before. We have been feeding for almost 3 years.

Pros

Cons
