I've been buying Timberland boat shoes for about ten years now. I buy two pairs a year because they wear out for me. I walk in heels and on the outside of my soles, but I get distracted. I tried Sperry shoes once and they seemed very cheap despite the price and then I found these Timberland. For years they've been amazing. It takes about a week to break in and then they are good until the sole wears out. This last pair I bought is terrible. I've had them for three months now and they fit very snugly. The size on the tag shows they are true to size but at least half a size too small. I told myself they were leather and would last three months to this morning. were comfortable.
