I am a woman with very dark, coarse hair on my legs that grows very quickly. Shaving with a regular 5 or 6 blade razor takes quite a long time because the blades are constantly clogged. I decided to get an electric shaver and I am very happy that I chose this one. It cut through my thick regrown hair fairly quickly and also gave me an incredibly close shave for an electric razor. I was really impressed. After I finished shaving and ran my hand down my leg, I couldn't feel the stubble - it was smooth! I don't think it's as close as a standard razor, but it's very useful and a time saver for people like me. Unfortunately, as I have very dark hair and very pale skin, I can always see tufts of hair on my skin that a razor obviously can't reach, but then again it feels like a very close shave and not - barbed razor. I like the shape of the razor as it is easy to hold and use and I usually use circular motions. It holds a charge well, and I haven't discharged it on my legs or hands. It also catches quite a bit of hair, but I still only shave in the tub/bath to remove anything that doesn't catch. The only thing that confused me was how to open the four razor heads as I never had one, but once I figured it out it was very easy - you open them from the inside/inside or the middle, not the bottom. on the outside, each flap opens outwards and then you can clear your head.
