Review on Dimmable LeMeng Halogen Replacement with Enhanced SEO by Peter Sullivan

works but has typical 60/120Hz flicker free LED flicker

Bulbs LeMeng 2W 2700K: they work well but they are def. not flicker free. You can check this by simply illuminating the surface (with as few other lights as possible) and waving your hand in front of it. You will see the typical 120Hz/60Hz strobe effect as these lamps are not always on but turn on and off according to the AC input waveform. I have found that some brands do this and some don't and there are varying degrees of how bad the effect is depending on the types of LEDs, how they are wired and what type of electronics/passives are used in the design. . They belong to the end of the spectrum of the "unfiltered or rectified xmax daisy-chained LED lamps that were released 2010 years ago". Not recommended. Perhaps to get lower wattage (i.e. 2W instead of 4W) they're just filled with LEDs that last less than half the time, but I haven't done any serious disassembly or duty cycle analysis to check the details.
