If you want a really strong phone mount, this is the one for you. I installed it in my RV to use primarily for navigating with google maps and also for hands free calling as many states require it by law. Next up is installing a bluetooth stereo system to pair with navigation, music and phone calls, similar to what is installed in my other cars. I have a screw mount as it is the most secure without having to worry about drilling screw holes in the dashboard as it is an older car. There are other mounting options if you don't want this, but I understand the mount will stay in place for the life of the car and there's no reason to think it won't last as long or longer. . We highly recommend installing it so that it's in your line of sight when facing the road! In my opinion, anything that requires a look down is dangerous.
